Empowerment Services

Empowerment Services is a statewide mental health peer support, education and advocacy organization that develops alternative recovery-based programs and promotes the equality, dignity and inclusion for people who receive mental health services.

Peer support services are provided by people with personal experience in recovery from a mental health and/or substance use condition. Peer-run organizations are formed, managed and staffed by people with lived experience with a mental health and/or substance use condition which allows them to relate, empathize and support people people with the similar problems in a unique way.

We provide education, advocacy and support groups for people with mental health conditions at no cost.
