All City Events in Salt Lake City
Utah is home to many exciting festivals throughout the year that visitors should definitely attend while in the Salt Lake City area. Utah's best-known festival is probably the Sundance Film Festival, which was founded back in 1981 by Robert Redford. Each January, over 20,000 people swarm Park City to view independent feature length and short films. The Utah State Fair is another favorite among locals and visitors alike. For 11 days each September, families from all over the state celebrate Utah's farming tradition. Other notable Salt Lake City festivals include the Highland's Festival, which celebrates the Scottish community, the Utah Arts Festival, the Utah Pride Festival and the Shakespearean Festival.
